I decided to go a bit mathematical with these since I love doing geometric designs and illusions. I drew each square separately so as to give myself some freedom and demolish the risk of smudging of going over the hatch next to it. Obviously the final layout is done on Photoshop and slightly edited with brightness and scale adjustments.
This is actually my third attempt of the hatching criteria as the first looked like a map and the second got smudged to hell.
